Ancient Ifestia. Ifestia was the second most important town on the island in ancient times. It took its name from Hephaestus, the god of fire, who was the protector of the island.

Cape Falakro. This Cape is a wonder of Nature. It is actually a set of red rocks and sand, combined in strange formations. It is located north of Atsiki.

The church of Agios Nikolaos is located on a hill and overlooks the whole town and the port. It is impressive in size and has strange architecture.

The Cave of the Seal (or Fokospilia) is located near Moudros, next to the bay of Mikro Fanaraki and is accessible by boat or foot. It is said it is a refuge for the rare seals Monachus - Monachus.

The Sand Dunes are located in the northern part of the island. There are constantly changing shape and dimension with the wind.

The waterfalls are located near the beach of Agios Ioannis, on the west side of the island. There are 2 of them: Ragavas waterfalls and "Hanging water".

The Cave of Philoctetes is located close to the archaeological site of Kaviria. The myth says that the Greeks abandoned a wounded man there, Philoctetes, on the way to the Trojan War.

Folklore Museum. Located in the village of Portiano, this Folklore Museum consists of an impressive collection related to Lemnian folklore. The three-storey building which houses the museum is of traditional Lemnian architecture and it has been beautifully preserved. The museum has numerous showrooms, each one with a different theme, according to the collection they exhibit.
